how do you worry?

There are two kinds of worries – those you can do something about and those you can’t. Don’t spend any time on the latter. RIP Duke Ellington

Worries are like a bunch of stones; round ones, little ones, jagged ones, smooth ones, dirty ones, slim ones, sharp ones… before you know it, you have accumulated a lot of stones… too many worries.  One by one, those worries will drag you down. Make you weary.  Being weary does no good for no one.  Not you. Not your loved ones.

So this full moon, light a candle… have a bon fire, make a camp fire or use a flashlight and unburden yourself from all those worries. Drop your bag of stones. Visualize the weight lifted and breathe deep, cleansing breaths.  Throw those worries into the fire.

There is no need to worry about the past. You cannot change it. Don’t worry about the future. It has not happened yet. Be right here. Right now. From my perspective, this moment is pretty perfect.  Namaste
