say who?

There are times when you are something… you know, someone.  You have been tagged; a best friend, fastest runner, love of someone’s life…

Once you become this someone you, unfortunately, do not get to stay that someone, I mean you don’t own the title.  Someone else will certainly someday, in the future, come and claim that title for themselves.

What is to become of you then?  That title was yours.  You were the best… the fastest… the love…

Here’s brutal honesty for you.

You’re weren’t, okay maybe in the moment it was said you were, but you’re not anymore; you do not hold the title forever and you may not last as long as you think.  Don’t believe me?  No longer best friend – best friend moved 3000 miles away and found new best friend.  Check back with your high school and see if you still hold that track record.  Bet you don’t.   The love of my life status is the one I cannot yet say is mythical or not.  I married the love of my life and we’re still going at it like rabbits.

So that leaves us with the other stuff and a new question {as it relates to me and to this site}.  Is hypnosis or meditation going to make you feel better about yourself?

Look, here’s what I know.  No one can make you feel something or have the power over you unless you want them to.  No one can define you, not even yourself.

Here’s what else I know.  Hypnosis is a tool.  Meditation is a tool.  Both of these tools can successfully lead you to a place of self-worth.  They can lead you other places, too.  Many, many other places.  I have seen it.  I have lived it.  I have made it happen.

When you’re ready to talk about it, I’ll be here.
