Pops of spring color

When gardening, I prefer perennials as opposed to annuals; in my experience plants that return year after year are much easier to maintain especially since my medicinal garden and culinary gardens needs are pretty much the same year after year.
Given the time of year, a visit to our local gardening center there were sparse herbs but plenty of annuals. I thought that the pop of spring color was too good to pass up. The daffodils are in our front garden but the other photos were taken at the nursery.
